Oh my goodness, I can't believe we have a 4 year old! Allie turned 4 on Wednesday and she had such a great day! I got her all this Dora dress up stuff for her birthday and she wore it all day.

The earrings and crown were bugging her at first so she said, I'll take it off for now and then put it on when we get to chuck e cheese. Then while I was getting ready she said, "Mom, do you remember at Brittany's wedding dress store that Chelsy was the maid of honor? She was helping Brittany get on her dress and look pretty? I need you to be my maid of honor when you are done getting ready. So come into my room and there is my dress store to make me pretty." It was the cutest thing ever. I got done getting ready and then helped her get her sash, and crown, and earrings on like any good maid of honor would do! She has been wanting to go to Chuck E Cheese again for a really long time because we passed it almost every day while going to and from daddy's work.
Here is the birthday girl at chuck e cheese riding with him in a car:

Her friend Janie came to celebrate with us. Janie is her best friend and she is such a sweet girl.

Janie gave
Allie a present, a pony, a stained glass window set, and a big set of suckers.

Allie was so thankful and gave Janie a great big hug.

Then they went on the roller coaster ride together, Allie's face says it all!

The best part of it was while we were eating, THE REAL CHUCK E CHEESE came over and gave her a birthday hug! She was so excited and happy to meet the REAL chuck e cheese!

When we got home, she got a package in the mail! I gave it to her and she couldn't wait for me to help her open it she was so excited that she ripped it right in half! It was a
Zhu zhu pet from her aunt Chelsy! It was so thoughtful of her and Allie loved it-especially getting it in the mail.

Here she is with her new
Zhu zhu pet, Roxie!

When daddy got home, we had dinner (it was breakfast: pancakes,
hash browns, and sausage) and we gave her presents. She was being such a good girl all day, not being mean to her sister and sharing with her, not whining or crying at all, and being so sweet and happy. She got a spin brush toothbrush, an outfit with shoes, and a big surprise. We blindfolded her and walked her to her room and this was her reaction:

As she was realizing what it was:

And then she got really excited!

It was a princess tent for her bed! It turned her bed into her own little princess clubhouse. She loved it so much! There was even a touch night light to go in it! She had to practice clubhouse with Marlee right away.

I think it turned out to be a great birthday to our little 4 year old princess!

Here is her showing off her new outfit:

I'm making the big birthday cake for Sunday when the whole family comes over but we had to make some cupcakes for her preschool the next day so we used some leftovers so that she could have something to make a wish on her birthday. Plus she told me that she isn't 4 yet until she blows out the candles-it melted my heart.

Allie and sister blowing out the candles:

This isn't the end. She got many phone calls on her birthday but we haven't had the big party yet. On
Sunday she is singing her I am a child of god solo in Sacrament meeting so everyone is coming to watch her and then we are having dinner and cake and ice cream after. More to come soon...!
