Marlee is having a birthday soon! She is going to be one year old on Saturday! We are very excited to celebrate and have already celebrated once. My sister Chelsy's birthday is on the 21st so she wanted to share her party with Marlee. So Sunday the 24th we got together for the birthday party! 
It started out with some swinging with Grandpa. 
Marlee didn't really like my dad for a long time (9 or 10 months) she would cry whenever she got close to him. Now he lets her grab his glasses and he does airplane with her and swings her so she thinks he is alright. Allie liked to swing with Grandpa John when she was a baby too.We had dinner and Marlee requested the bread, she loves bread, but who doesn't? After dinner, we got straight to the presents. Chelsy got some clothes and modeled them for us. Marlee got an outfit and some pajamas and hat and gloves and a toy purse that makes sounds. It has play money, lipstick, bracelet, mirror, and keys. Essentials for every young lady. 
She had a lot of fun opening presents because all eyes were on her. When we sang Happy Birthday she danced. She dances by nodding her head and swaying her body, its pretty cute.

It was a fun party! We will be having another one on the official day, and I have a fabulous cake cooking up in my head, I can't wait to make it!!
